President's Welcome Message

What a wonderful hockey final on the last day of the Olympics. Canada really did "Own the Podium" with the most gold medals - 14 - at one of the most successful Winter Olympic Games in history. It was so exciting that these took place in our own Province.

Thank you to the nineteen people who displayed their hobbies at our February meeting and made it such a fun and inspiring evening. Thank you also to all our members for the array of delicious food.

The bulbs are peeking up through the soil heralding Spring and yet there is still good skiing less than an hour away. Aren't we lucky to live in Kelowna.

We have lots of activities for you all to enjoy - just sign up at our monthly meetings or call any of the coordinators listed in this Newsletter. Everyone is welcome at any of the Kelowna Newcomers Club's activities whether by yourself or with a partner.
